Termite infestation closes Shorncliffe Pier
The Protect Shorncliffe Pier Group is concerned the pier continues to deteriorate while the Brisbane City Council determines the best way to save it.

The Shorncliffe Pier is 140 years old, and an Icon of the Sandgate, Deagon, Brighton and Shorncliffe District. It is currently closed due to benign neglect by successive Councils and needs to be restored to its original glory.
